A health check-up camp for children with disabilities undergoing therapy at PUNARBASA, Madhapur, Kendrapara, was organized in collaboration with the State Social Security Department

The DPMU team of the District Head Hospital, including Dr. Sheikh Asif Hussain, Pharmacist Sitoshna Priyadarshini Parida, and the support staff, conducted health check-ups of the children. On this occasion, the initial monthly health examination of 20 children with cerebral palsy, autism, and developmental disabilities was carried out.

Project Supervisor Sanjiv Kumar Jena, Physiotherapist Rachita Jena, Occupational Therapist Gunjansmita Behera, and Ranjan Kumar Swain assisted in the smooth management of the programme.

The medical team was appreciated by the District Chief for bringing special children under the ambit of regular monthly health check-ups. Chief Advisor Biraja Routray expressed gratitude to Medical Officer Dr. Vinod Rout, Administrative Officer Dilip Nayak, and RSBY Joint Manager Joshna Nayak for their support and cooperation.
